Exciting News: Kieran Peel Wins Prestigious Apprenticeship Award!

We're thrilled to announce that Kieran Peel, our Level 3 Fabrication and Welding apprentice at Kiernan Steel Wales Ltd in Llandrindod Wells, has been awarded the 'Highly Commended Award in Craft' at the 'Metals Industry Apprentice of the Year Competition 2025'.

Kieran attended the prestigious black-tie event, the 'Court Dinner of the Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers alias Wire Workers', at the Apothecaries' Hall in London on Friday, 23rd May. This recognition highlights Kieran's exceptional skills and dedication to his craft.

We're incredibly proud of Kieran's achievements and the initiative shown by our team at Kiernan Steel Wales Ltd. Special thanks to Pete Timbrell (Production Manager) for nominating Kieran and Amy McNamee (HR) for completing the application.

Kieran is set to complete his level 3 C&G Diploma in Engineering Fab & Weld (600/0882/9) at Shrewsbury College this July, marking another milestone in his promising career.
